THE FARMGATE DINING POLICY AS OF MAY 2022

All bookings for lunch and dinner can be made online. Please ask a friend or family member to assist you if you are unfamiliar with this process.

Alternatively, if you do not have access the internet, we will assist you. You can call us on 021 463 2771 during opening hours.

Whilst we appreciate this booking system may upset some of our regulars, we have had far too many no shows since our reopening and we must have the same booking policy for everyone, both existing customers (regulars) and new customers to avoid further upset.

We trust you understand and we very much look forward to seeing you all.

Lunch is served from 12.30-3.30pm

Bookings are taken online for 12:30, 1pm, 2.30pm and 3pm. Please arrive on time for your booking as all sittings are for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

On Thursday the Early Supper Menu is served from 5pm – 8pm AND on Friday at the 5.30pm sitting and 6.30pm sitting only.Please arrive on time for your booking as all sittings are for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

On Friday our A La Carte Menu will run from 7.30pm -8/30pm and Saturday our A La Carte Menu will run from 5.30pm – 8.30pm. Please arrive on time for your booking as all sittings are for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The restaurant closes at 11pm.

Families are very welcome here at the Farmgate, however, for safety reasons we cannot accommodate buggy’s or pushchairs in our dining areas. Highchairs and banquet seating is available for carry tots. Please mention this when making your booking.

Our Children’s Menu is served during the following times only:

Lunch (12.30-3.30pm)

5pm and 6pm on Thursday during the Early Supper Menu and the

5.30pm sitting time on Friday and Saturday only.

Children are welcome to dine at times where the Children’s Menu is not available, however, we ask you to please understand that our restaurant has been closed for a terribly long time and therefore we have a policy of minimum one main dish per person at each sitting. We are more than happy to pack up any left over food if you are unable to finish your meal which can be reheated by you, at home.

If for any reason you are unable to make your reservation we can’t emphasis enough how important it is to please ring in adequate time (24 hours notice)  so that we can release your table to the next customer. If you or any member of your party are feeling unwell and displaying any symptoms of COVID 19 we ask that you please refrain from entering Farmgate. Should you start feeling unwell during your visit to us, please let us know as our team have been trained to help you following all necessary protocol. If you are running late, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate you within the timeframe allowed. This may mean we can not offer you 3 courses however.
