Dining Policy

We do 4 sittings daily.

Reservations are taken for table & counter dining every 2 hours, therefore we ask that you please arrive on time for your booking.

“Walk-ins”
We will always do our best to find you a seat.

Please note: our counter dining areas are not suitable for highchairs.

Farmgate closes nightly at 11pm (Thursday-Saturday) and at 7.30pm on Sundays.

Strollers / Prams
Due to the very tight layout of this very old building, we are unable to accommodate prams/strollers.
Highchairs are available on request. *Please mention this when booking.
Prams (folded) can be stored in our cloakroom.

Cancellations
With only a handful of tables we kindly ask that if for any reason you can not honour your reservation, you let us know by email as soon as possible so that we can (hopefully) release it to another customer.

Dining requirements
There is a minimum requirement of one main dish (or two starter dishes) per person. Alcohol can only be served to accompany a main meal.

Bills & gratuity
We are unable to split bills
One bill per table.
Cash tips only which go directly to our team

Garden dining
Garden dining for walk-ins only. We do not take reservations for the garden. The garden is open for dining weather dependent.

Mobile phones
Please be aware that there is little to no coverage throughout the premises and therefore the reason we only take reservations by email.

The maximum group size we can cater for is 10 in our private alcove area.

We look forward to welcoming you to Farmgate.
